Which areas can be treated with Sculptra?

Administered with the appropriate injection technique from a trained specialist, Sculptra is clinically approved for:

• Cheek wrinkles.
• Deep folds between the nose and mouth (nasolabial folds), also called “smile lines”
• Lines framing the mouth (marionette lines)
• Chin wrinkles.

Also Sculptra can be treated for  butt lift. This is a cosmetic procedure that claims to enhance the curve and shape of your buttocks without surgery or a high risk of complications. Sculptra butt lift uses a dermal filler injection called Sculptra to stimulate collagen production in the deeper layers of your skin.

How Sculptra was injecting?

Sculptra is injected into the deep dermis, subcutaneous layer or into the supraperiosteal plane with a 25G or 26G needle with sterile single-use syringes. The depth of injection and quantity of Sculptra used depend on the area to be treated and the result expected.

Dr. Itskovich recommends injecting an average of 2-3 vials of Sculptra into the face every 4-5 weeks, or 4 – 8 Sculptra vials into each buttock cheek, every 8 weeks until the desired baseline is achieved.

Does Sculptra it hurts?

Sculptra® injections are not painful. There might be some minor discomfort during the injection process, but this is typically minimal and well-tolerated by our patients. 

What is the downside to Sculptra?

Having temporary side effects is something that can be Sculptra pros and cons, both. While it is generally well-tolerated, Sculptra comes with the acknowledgment of possible temporary side effects. Some may experience short-term effects, like tenderness and swelling, where it is injected.
