What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive skin tightening treatment and subdermal adipose remodeling device (SARD). It works in several ways to tighten skin, improve skin texture, reduce unwanted fat deposits, and shape your appearance the way you want it. 

The Morpheus8 Prime handpiece treats the face and smaller areas of the body, while the Morpheus8 Body handpiece treats bigger areas.

How does Morpheus8 work?

Morpheus8 includes two different technologies, including:

Microneedling

Microneedling uses a closely spaced group of many tiny needles to puncture the skin’s surface and briefly move into the deeper skin layers. This irritates the skin and causes it to respond as if you’re injured by making collagen and elastin. 

Collagen maintains skin firmness and smooths out skin indentations, like wrinkles and acne scars. Elastin maintains skin elasticity, which helps eliminate wrinkles and makes your skin look more youthful. You lose a lot of these precious substances with age, but microneedling helps restore them.

Radiofrequency energy 

The Morpheus8 needles are specially insulated, so they emit radiofrequency energy as they work. 

Radiofrequency energy (RF) heats the deep skin layers, leading them to contract and tighten. In addition, RF energy prompts collagen and elastin growth. When delivered on a deeper (subdermal) level, RF energy can also melt away unwanted fat deposits.
